The non profit Betty Ford Center reserves fifty percent of its space for women, and the programs are gender specific.

The Caron Foundation is a drug and alcohol addiction rehabilitation center located at a one hundred and ten acre facility in Wernersville, Pennsylvania. Founded in nineteen fifty-seven by Reading, Pennsylvania industrialist and recovering alcoholic, Richard J. Caron and his wife, Catherine, who opened their home to people needing shelter and help with recovery.

They subsequently purchased the property it now occupies. Caron is one of the first drug and alcohol treatment centers in the world, and the first in the U.S. to establish a residential co-dependency treatment program.

The Crossroads Centre (yes Centre) is a drug and alcohol addiction rehabilitation centre located on the Caribbean island of Antigua.

The centre was founded by guitarist Eric Clapton. His vision was to create a Centre of the highest caliber to treat people of the Caribbean and throughout the world. The Centre is staffed with experienced and internationally recognized professionals.
